Bill Pay:

  • 1. What is Bill Pay?

  • Bill Pay, is the online bill payment service offered to BankAnytime customers. This optional service allows you to save time and money. Simply enter your payee information and you can choose to pay immediately or schedule payments to be made at a later date.
  • 2. Who can I pay with Bill Pay?

  • You may make payments to any business, merchant, or professional that generates a bill or invoice for products or services provided to you on your behalf and who has an address we can verify. You may also make payments to individuals, family, or friends for non-business purposes. Payments may only be made to Payees with a U.S. payment address. You may not make a payment of alimony, child-support, taxes, or other governmental fees or court-directed payments.
  • 3. Is there a limit to the dollar amount I can send via Bill Pay?

  • Payments may be made in any amount not less than $1.00 and not exceeding $9,999.00.
  • 4. Will I receive confirmation of the payments that I schedule?

  • You will be provided a confirmation number for each payment that you schedule and it can be found on the Payment History screen.
  • 5. Will transactions made appear on my bank account statement?

  • Yes, all transactions will be on your monthly bank statement, so you will have a complete record of your bill payment transactions.
  • 6. How late in the day can I schedule a payment to be processed immediately?

  • A payment must be scheduled by 11:00 P.M. CST on a business day in order for the payment to be initiated on the same day. Expedited payments must be scheduled by 3:00 P.M. CST to be processed on that day.
  • 7. Can I schedule a recurring payment?

  • Yes, you may schedule payments to be automatically initiated in a fixed amount at regular intervals. Click the Payment Options link at the top of the Payee Details page for more information about the different types of recurring payments. Payments scheduled on a non-business day will be initiated on the prior business day.
  • 8. Can I schedule a payment to be initiated on a date in the future?

  • Yes, you may schedule a payment to be initiated on any business day within 1 year from the date that you are creating the payment.
  • 9. How far in advance do I need to enter and transmit a payment so that it gets paid on time?

  • You should allow five (5) business days for a "check" payment to be posted with your payee, and three (3) business days for an "electronic" payment. When using the calendar tool to select the payment date, the estimated arrival date will be displayed for easy reference.
  • 10. Can I pay bills from more than one account at a time?

  • Yes. All payments default to the primary funding account, but you may select a different account from your list of funding accounts before creating a payment.
  • 11. How much does Bill Pay cost?

  • The Bill Pay service is offered free of charge to all customers that maintain an active Bill Pay account. You may be subject to an inactivity fee if your account becomes inactive for more than 90 days.
  • 12. How do I start using Bill Pay?

  • To begin using Bill Pay, just log in to BankAnytime and go to the Pay Bills page to enroll and setup your list of payees.
  • 13. How are payments delivered to payees?

  • Payments are sent electronically whenever possible. If a payee does not accept electronic payments, then a paper check is sent instead. The easiest way to tell if a payment will be send electronically is to use the calendar tool when creating a payment. The claendar will show a lead time of 3 days for all electronic payments and a lead time of 5 days for all paper check payments.
  • 14. Can I setup payment reminders about Bill Pay payments?

  • Yes. There are a number of notifications available depending on the payee. You can see the available list by clicking "Set Up" or "Change" in the Notifications column of the My Payees page. BankAnytime also allows you to create custom reminders for online bill payments and funds transfers. Just click the "Reminders" link on Transfer Funds pages to create a custom reminder.
